About the Author
Born on Christmas Eve, the author grew up in a sleepy town in the Philippines nourished by fish and the Pacific breeze. He once dreamed of flying fighter jets after watching Top Gun. When he inadvertently discovered Tom Clancy’s world, he felt that his fighter pilot destiny was set. Yet he would never see the inside of a flight school. For ordinary circumstances, his feet took him to the huge wooden doors of a Catholic seminary where bread was less abundant than God, Latin, and literature. He endured for four years, left for the city, and came back to the fold tails tucked between his legs. A couple of years later, “advised to continue his philosophical studies outside the seminary,” he packed his bags again and turned his back from priestly formation for good. Wordsmithing his way, he delved into the corporate world of publishing and business documents after a half-semester stint in law school. He thinks that he still does not know where to go. Or whether he will make it—big or small. He’s still walking though.
